Heart
My cardiologist ordered me to the ER for a Congestive Heart Failure evaluation last week where they kept me for two days while I peed about 4 liters (8 lbs.) of urine. ER docs seemed surprised I carried so much excess liquid but I told them that 5 lbs still remained in my body. However, doctors warn they should not siphon it off too quickly as they will hurt my kidneys. I’m limited to 1500 cc/ml liquid per day but believe that less that 2/3 of that is eliminated in 24 hours, 1/3 being stored in bodily tissue. Doctors don’t know why my medicines cannot get to that accumulating stored amount. Eventually that storage overflows into my lungs and I must again go to ER for IV drugs to reduce it. I believe I’ll soon lose to resistance even to IV drugs.
Body
My gall bladder is again causing pain. I take a pain killer but the pain is back in days. Last week in hospital my cellmate had a rush gall bladder removal. Doctors reported the organ was full of puss and holes. Below my right rib it is tender to the touch.
Psyche
Sleep eludes me for the 3rd month. My psychiatrist saw me only twice then kicked me to the curb. I was surprised and don’t really know why she so did. But I saw her only via a Skype type connection. Two months ago, I asked to see her in person as Skype may have introduced some coldness but she is not in the area. A month ago her department phoned to learn which gender psychiatrist I’d prefer. “Either,” I said, but have heard nothing more from them.
